A dog license must be purchased for each dog over the age of six months residing in the City of Woodbury. Dog licenses must be renewed every two years.
Licenses should be purchased prior to March 31 in even-numbered years. If licenses are purchased after March 31, the license fees will double (with the exception of new residents and newly acquired dogs).
Dog licenses may be purchased at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road, during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, due to a high volume of dog licensing, you are encouraged to purchase your licenses between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Dog licenses may also be purchased via mail. You must include a copy of the rabies certificate and a check payable to the City of Woodbury (credit/debit cards are not accepted via mail). Applications can be mailed to: City of Woodbury Dog License, 8301 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury, MN 55125.
