Citizens Helping Improve Parks

The Adopt-A-Park program is a public service program that encourages volunteers, with the assistance of the Parks and Recreation Department, to adopt a lake or park in Woodbury for regular maintenance and cleanups, including picking up litter and planting flowers.
Volunteers identify safety hazards and freely communicate other issues associated with their designated park. The city provides necessary equipment for the cleanups and a sign at the chosen site as recognition for the volunteer group. The program is suitable for community groups, businesses, churches, scout and 4-H groups, students, individual citizens, etc.
Volunteers are encouraged to consider the size of their group before selecting a cleanup site. A minimum commitment of two years is required. If you are interested in participating, print, complete and submit the Adopt-A-Park forms below:
