Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA)
The Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is a separate, legal authority under state law that directs redevelopment projects, eliminates or prevents blight and promotes affordable, safe, and decent housing. The City Council members serve as the HRA commissioners, a common practice among municipalities.
The HRA meets several times per year prior to City Council meetings, typically at 6:45 p.m. Meetings are cablecast at 6:45 p.m. on Channel 16 and are also rebroadcast throughout the week. Check the Woodbury Bulletin or call the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission at (651) 458-9241 for rebroadcast dates and times. Programming details are also available on the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission website at www.swctc.org. In addition, live and archived Housing and Redevelopment Authority meetings can be viewed on the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission website. HRA agendas are available under "Agendas and Minutes".
Information about the HRA's four housing loan programs can be found on the Housing web page.
